
The Idaho Public
Citizen of the Year Award was established to honor an outstanding
member of the
community whose accomplishments exemplify the values and mission of
professional
social work. The award recipient is not a social worker.
The award recipient must:
- At-risk or vulnerable populations
- Quality of life in communities
- Social issues
Chapter may nominate an NASW member by submitting six (6) copies of the following:
- What the citizen has accomplished
- What the outcomes of their efforts were in Idaho state
- Who benefited from their efforts and work
- How the citizen’s accomplishments relate to social work, its practice and overall
enhancement to the community in which the citizen resides.
